La nozione di «forma rituale» nella Sacrosanctum Concilium non è stata oggetto di studi approfonditi. Come categoria tecnica viene adoperata soltanto durante la discussione del testo conciliare. Il suo rapporto con le nozione più ampie di «forma» e di «rito» giustifica un’indagine che cerca di chiarire il senso di questi termini all’interno del documento, nonché il contributo della nozione di «forma» alla nozione più generica di «ritus». Da questo punto di vista la forma offre un doppio guadagno: aggiunge la dimensione dell’espressione in rapporto alla natura dell’azione rituale; serve a esplorare alcuni dinamismi che in sinergia configurano dal di dentro l’azione liturgica. Tra questi, vengono messi in evidenza la vitalità dello sviluppo storico, la finalità del carisma gerarchico, la diversità della mediazione culturale, e il rapporto tra Logos divino e «logos» umano che giustifica ogni pretesa di discorso sul rito cristiano.

The «ritual form» in the Sacrosanctum Concilium

The notion of «ritual form» in the Sacrosanctum Concilium has not been subject of deep studies. As technical category is used only during the discussion of the Council text. Its relationship with the wider notions of «form» and of «rite» is a good reason for an investigation that tries to clear the sense of these terms within the document, as well the contribution of the «form» notion to the more generci notio of «ritus». From this point of view, the form offer a double profit: it adds the dimension of the expression with reference to the nature of the ritual action; it serves also to explore some dynamisms which in synergy give shape from within to the liturgical action. Among these dynamisms are stressed the vitality of the historical development, the finality of the hierarchical charisma, the variety of the cultural mediation and the relationship between divine Logos and human «logos», that justifies every pretension of a discussion about the Christian rite.
